April 08

Green Car Wash

The Community Blind Center is participating in the City of Stockton's environmentally-friendly car wash program.  Funds raised will assist the Stockton Stingrays beep baseball team to afford travel to the World Series in Houston, TX this July.  Help the earth and the team by purchasing a Green Car Wash ticket from any team member or from the Community Blind Center.  Tickets can be used any day/time during operating hours at one of two convenient California Car Wash locations.

October 08

Lobster Dinner - October 3.  6 p.m.  At Waterloo Gun & Bocci Club. Come out for a lobster dinner with all the trimmings, browse our silent auction and enjoy yourself!  Tickets are available from the Community Center for the Blind.

November 08

Pasta Dinner @ CCBVI - November 7, 2008, 5-8 p.m.  Kick off the beep baseball team's 2009 season with food, raffles & fun! All proceeds will benefit the Stockton Stingrays as they prepare to compete in the 2009 NBBA World Series right here in Stockton. Team awards ceremony will follow dinner. Take-out available upon request. Tickets are $10/plate.

December 08

Cinderella and High Tea @ Stockton Civic Theatre - December 13, 2008, 2 p.m. Matinee followed by High Tea.  An enchanting event for princes and princesses of all ages! Enjoy a "High Tea" after an incredible performance of Cinderella at the Stockton Civic Theatre. Tickets are $50 and are available from the Community Center for the Blind.

January 09

Crab Feed @ Waterloo Gun & Bocci Club - January 24, 2009, 6 p.m.  Everyone loves a crab feed! Come on out and make a difference in the lives of local blind clients as you enjoy food, a 50/50 cash raffle and good times. Tickets are $45 per personand are available from the Community Center for the Blind. Contact Bonnie at (209) 466-3836 for more info.

February 09

Sweetheart Omelet Breakfast @ CCBVI - February 14, 2009, Served 9 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Treat your Sweet to a delicious build-your-own omelet breakfast, juice, champagne and more! Raffle prizes will add to the fun. Tickets are available from the Community Center for the Blind or any Stockton Stingrays team member, and proceeds will benefit the beep baseball program's World Series participation fund.

“Pedaling Paths to Independence” 100 Metric Bike Ride - February 21, 2009.   Come ride for a great cause!  Registration begins at 8 a.m. Contact Bonnie at (209) 466-3836 for more info.

April 09

Lions & Community Center for the Blind Health Fair @CCBVI - April 4, 2009, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.  Come out and learn what your community has to offer in the way of services, information and programs for the blind and visually-impaired. Free health and vision screenings available. Mark your calendars now and contact the Community Center for the Blind for more info.
